Before heading out to a family picnic, I decided to stop by a local military cemetery.
I have lived in this town for 29 years. I drive by or even run by this cemetery at least once a week and yet I don't ever recall being inside the gates.
I have noticed that every Memorial Day they put a flag at each grave. It's such a beautiful site.
I wanted to humble myself and pay my respects to our military personnel who have died for our freedom. Without them, we wouldn't have what we have.
I know I would not want fight in any wars, so I thank each and every person who has served in our military.
This grave particularly caught my attention and makes me ask so many questions.
Where is this person's family?
How can he be unknown?
Does anyone come and visit him/her?
