What have I done?

I have had a few mins to play with an image.
Can you tell what I have done in photoshop? Answer I have put the mist in!

Dunstanburgh Castle

An iconic castle ruin, on one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland coastline. An exhilarating walk from Craster or Embleton.

I parked at Dunstanburgh Golf Club (Embleton) and walked to the castle.

Fabulous processing, I assume you have created the fog and water. It does give an additional atmosphere of mystery to the beautiful castle ruins. BV

Great bit of processing to add to this already superb image. v

An interesting layering effect. Goes well with the castle.

A very nice result of your work! V
Did you make some of the foggy parts brighter with the dodge? Please excuse my bad english!

Aren't you the clever one...you have provided an interesting image with the ruins against the skyline and then managed so much more...V

Looks like you added a partially opaque layer and erased some of it, but who knows. At any rate, it's a pretty good image! V

Looks like two pics for the price of one.

Mark if it were in the desert, I would say that it's a mirage Ha Ha

At a guess blended in the water and mist.
I am trying hard to find the direction of the shadows as a tale tale sign.
Looks great anyway.

You have added something magical to this image, Mark. I love it!! BV

I'm looking at the flood. and I'm looking at the mist but I have to say I can't tell what you've done.

I like the composition and color, and the castle set against a threatening sky. The water, though, looks a bit ghostly. Or is there even water there? V.

I thought it was a double exposure on a roll of film :-)
