Valparaiso

Valparaiso is the second largest city in Chile, the second largest port in Chile, and the home to Chile's Congress. It is a bit seedy in many areas, but it still has a very scenic quality.

Valparaiso is about 2 hours or so west of Santiago. Easy to get there by car or bus. There is also a train from nearby Vina del Mar.
