Embera Parara Peru (2004)

These are photos I took at an Embera Village in Chagres National Park in Panama. The Embera still live a very traditional lifestyle. They wear traditional clothing with the men wearing loincloths and the women are mostly topless. You will probably notice that some modern civilization is creeping in with metal chairs, rubber hoses, eye glasses, modern knives and even a few cardboard boxes.
