Five years ago, I had the opportunity to visit the Embera Parara Puru community and enjoyed it so much I decided to visit the Embera again on my most recent trip to Panama. Once again I really enjoyed myself. It is amazing that these communities still exist. These people are among the most friendly and welcoming people you could ever meet dispite the language barrier. If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend a visit to one of the Embera villages in Panama.
