Ambient Achromatic August XII

August 9

Pegram, TN

A month of ambient light and achromatic images. A little
more experimantation with IR filtering in PS CS2 for today.
This had more of that softness to it that I was shooting for.
Please view the others joining in HERE.

The color version is here for reference...

Thoughts: In yesterdays east facing track faux IR, I used a
film grain and by having the sun to my back ended up with too
much shadow and bits of bright highlights. When I turned and
saw the sun rays passing the clouds and the light accentuating
grasses and leaves with a brilliant washing of backlighting I
knew it would be set off by the forward shadows. Most IR film
shoots with a soft blur. This time I think I immitated it much
better that in the previous shot with the bit of Gaussian Blur.

I'm interested in your feedback and criticism. Thanks.
