Jackie tried sooo hard to get a similar photo of Em on her first birthday, but she would have nothing of it, she very neatly ate her piece and was done.

gosh...he is really getting stuck into that cake. what i love about this one is the fact that his head and eyes are focused and sharp and hands are busy making the 'mess'. kudos.
