Butter Me Up

March 4

Kingston Springs, TN

Daffodils always get me geared up for spring. Delicate yet tough
enough to take the frequent cold snaps of early spring. Such a
strong contrast to the surrounding "sleeping" forest floor.

A new gallery from April is here:

Wow what a gorgeous shot.

Lovely shot Scott, makes me feel a little warmer. The good thing about daffodils around here is that sheep don't eat them, they eat just about everything else!

Nice! Nothing like this up at my humble abode..:) Maybe next month..:)
Faye White05-Mar-2006 16:21

Lovely shot and you're right; they make it regardless of the cold. I have a very large Japanese magnolia that gets zapped almost every year by a late freeze.
Wonderful shot Scott and I like the out of focus falling line in the BG. Great detail on the daffodils.

Nice performance, and they are all taking a bow.
