Near Home

A brisk walk on a nine degree morning provided opportunities for light
and contrast with a light snow left over from the previous day.
Oakley and I headed off about a mile down stream on Talley's Branch
this morning to enjoy the frosty wonderland.

No matter what season, Coile shoots the good ones! Snow, ice and Rivers, always a wonderfull combination. Although it is a winterly setting, you can see spring is coming. Great capture.

Very nice, Scott. Reminds me of a time in Gatlinburg when my son and daughter were just kids and were playing in one of the streams close to the motel where we were staying. Thanks for bringing this memory back to me....

What beautiful images and I can almost feel the crisp cold air...what I like most is the snow on the branches against that blue sky and the icicles on the edge of the water.
