Alone

July 19

Downtown Nashville, TN

In a busy city, it's always strange to find someone all alone.

NOTE: Yesterday's PAD was a martini glass with apple Pucker and an olive dropped from about 12". 8.2 frames per second helps!

Cheers:

The two sides of the city and you don't know which one the lady will be walking into. Great shot.

Excellent composition! Love the contrast between 'old and new' and the clouds looming in the bg. Looks great, and very effective, in b&w. Boy, was I wwaaayy off on yestrday's PAD lol! ;) I see the glass now, but everything else still doesn't click in my mind. Again, excellent job with that one!

Great comp, the old against the new.

Good composition featuring nice thirds - sky, modern, older.

The more modern buildings over shadowing the older buildings is interesting.
The B&W adds a lot of character as well!

Nice cityscape. Nice mixture of "textures" between the old and new. And good tones.

P.S. I guess I was close on yesterday's PaD. Close on the Apple Pucker, didn't notice the olive, though. Clever idea, nicely executed.
