Hidden Lake

Hidden Lake

This is Hidden Lake a State Natural area just a couple of miles from my office. It was in it's day a resort and this old quarry was the swimming pool with the main building up on the bluff overlooking the Harpeth River. All of the old stone steps that once connected the pool to the resort are still cut into the side of the quary.

Coverted with Channel Mixer in monochrome. Settings: 100 (red), -10 (green), 5 (blue) and constant set at -10.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Looks like a great location. I agree with Steve: excellent natural framing and composition.

Wow, it looks wild, like no one has been there in a hundred years. Great place to take a break from work!

i always thought the settings on channel mixer had to add up to 100?? i guess it doesn't matter if the picture comes out good. :)
