Roadside in Kingston Springs, TN

Cichorium intybus (Chicory) is a taprooteed perennial often found along
roadsides and other disturbed areas. The root is used to flavor coffee.

Very nice isolation by colors here Scott. The light blue of the chicory is really set off by the GB colors. Nice.

a long time ago, i'd walk along the roads, just to photograph all those plants close up. it was full of marvelous insects too. V
