Home

An atmosphere of fear... This is in front of our house
from last night when a chimney fire ignited after we
started the first fire for this Winter. Lots of fear,
flashing lights and friends calling, texting & dropping
in to check on us. It remained contained in the chimney
thank God. Miles and Ellie will talk about it a while.

Also added today to the atmosphere series for January...

I clean my chimneys every year. But a chimney fire is good, it does the cleaning... but only if it is masonnary!

So glad everything is okay. I have my chimney sweeped every fall. So far so good. Glad that there wasn't any major damage and that all of you are fine. God watched over you!

oh my gosh, that is so scary! I'm so glad that y'all are alright. I haven't dared to have a fire until I get a chimney sweep service to clean things out.
