For the December Advent Calendar challenge.

My card to all those out there that I know through
these cyber-connections. I appreciate so much all
of the inspiration and encouragement and wish more
for you all in the coming years. I wish I could
say that I have met each of you and know what it
is like share time eye-to-eye getting to know you
and sharing our thoughts and passions. Not having
done that does not decrease the value of these
relationships to me in any way.

I say this with much sadness having discovered one
of my longest standing photo friends Dale Unruh
passed away December 10th. I met Dale through a
photographers forum after purchasing my first DSLR
back in 2003. He and several others from that forum
steered me to Pbase. He was a gifted photographer,
talented writer, man of adventure and one of the
wittiest people I have ever known. Because of the
cyber-nature of our relationship I may never know
the details of his death. I pray now for his family
as they deal with their loss.
