Pbase Failure '09

Still in a read only mode. This started in the early morning hours (CST) Thursday September 24. While up and running after about 4 1/2 days of complete outage, we are still getting a "Read Only" mode message. Sad state which has me suspending my PaD for now and experimenting on Smugmug. I hope Slug and team can get this right :-(

Mayby you should get another brand of toilet paper? Oops, another things, some things are just as slow... this was written in previous message, but I had forgotten I had pressed the send button, but it does take long to send. I'll send this remark, and go get a coffe b-4 it's finished.

I'm finding it fast, easy to load & comment, linking not a problem...I joined Smugmug too, but like Cindy says there's not the same contact/communication there as here.

I've been too busy to even think about a "protest" image this time around. You've got it covered pretty good with this one. Nice job.

I've been able to upload and comment but it is not as bad as it was. I like Smugmug but don't like that you can't really communicate with each other like you can here. Like the image...and YES it has been a pain. Hoping they will have it all sorted out soon!

nice one! I've moved over to blipfoto - you can only upload one photo a day, marked on the exif data... If it's running in Safe Mode, how can we all upload images and comments - it's a worry

I had already seen this on Facebook and it cracked me up when I did - so fitting for circumstances. Still feels like we're going through some "growing" pains with the new system trying to work out the kinks. Wonder when we'll get our page counts back, the ability to edit, create new galleries, resize, find forums, etc.
