I was watching birds through the windows this morning
with the binoculars when I noticed the shallow isolation
by the telephoto in the mass of Japanese Kerria. The
EF 200 f/2.8L provided the similar effect on camera.

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 200mm f/2.8L USM
1/100s f/3.5 at 200.0mm iso200 full exif

Yes, binocular really make the trick even more that a wide open good lens, but your lens makes a superb bokeh here.
