This photograph show the post office when run/owned by my great grand parents William and Mary Trigg (nee Stevens). Unsure who is stood out the front in the post uniform as at one point my great grand father, grand father and great uncle all worked along side each other. My grandmother Elizabeth Rumming nee Trigg their daughter also worked there as the shop assistant. I believe they sold up/ moved out after my great grandfather William died in 1926. His father also named William lived in the village until his death in 1941.We have a large framed picture of this photograph hanging in my mums house.

This is a message for David Sopp if this can possibly be forwarded on to him?!
I am researching my family tree at the moment and my Great Grand Father was Daniel Sopp born in Ecchinswell in 1880. I am trying to find out as much information about Daniel and his family as possible. I wonder if there is a connection to David Sopp and Charlie Sopp (in the cricker photo)?
Any help you can give would be great - my email address is donnasmith_76@yahoo.co.uk.
Many thanks

This photograph is a copy of a Postcard owned by MRS MAY CALDER, a long-time resident of Ecchinswell, (formerly May Freeman.) She has also been kind enough to allow us to copy others featuring old Ecchinswell, which are also in her collection.
