This was my project for today, I took a few shots of this lovely young lady a week or so ago and created this final image earlier today.

The idea was to create a natural looking image of a girl first thing in the morning making herself a drink. The football shirt was chosen because it is the sort of thing she might wear instead of PJs, or she might have just put on her boyfriends shirt to come downstairs. The other reason for this choice of course, was the fact that the material was thin enough for the sun to shine through and highlight the models body. I wanted the sunlight to emphasise the curve of her back and suggest the shape of her buttocks, I deliberately chose an angle where the sun doesn't quite light up her butt however, as it is quite fun to watch viewers moving their heads around, subconsciously, trying to get a 'better angle' so that her butt becomes visible.

I always intended this to be a monochrome image, I don't feel it would work in colour, the golden yellow toning is intended to give the impression of early morning sunshine (it was actually shot around 11am). The 'steam' from the kettle is actually just a photoshop effect, the kettle was cold - keeping it on the boil while I took the various shots I was after would have created too much steam!
