This is an image of the green comet again, showing its position on 6-Feb-2023 at about 8 PM EDT. Again the ion tail is not visible. The bright yellow star near the comet in this image is Saclateni, the eighth brightest star in the constellation Auriga. At magnitude 3.65, Saclateni is visible to the naked eye in moderately light-polluted locations.
This image was created from 92 thirty second exposures. I believe the colors are more accurate in this image than in the previous image of this comet in this gallery.
