SP 2105 class 72-IC-1

SP Suburban coach (they were NOT "Harriman" cars), common fixtures found on Southern Pacific's San Jose-San Francisco commute line from when they were built in 1924 and 1927, until their retirement in mid-1985. Many cars were later sold or donated to museums and excursion operations throughout the West. Note the spotting feature where the letterboard does not continue over the end doors, a typical feature of most Harriman-era cars.
