Image comparison - Sigma SD9, SD14 and Kodak DCS 14n

Three shots, as identical as possible (same lens for Sigmas). The image size (original) for the SD9 and DCS 14n were both 12" x 8" at 180ppi, so I downsized the SD14 one to match. That amount of change I thought was insignificant compared to providing a direct comparison for the three. Hope you find them of interest. The different colour balance is just what the cameras gave on same WB settings. Exposure the same - and despite anything in the EXIF, all manually metered, focused, etc.

Feel free to download the images - suggest you download the ORIGINAL. As pbase do change images slightly and for sheer size, they were saved at level 12 jpeg, so do make some allowances in terms of any apparent artefacts, which do not appear in original TIF files from the RAW ones. Downloading other files from the other galleries is not permitted - except perhaps in special circumstances with permission first please.

I have posted a smaller image taken on 2nd December 2007 to show how much the site of the old olive factory has changed - it's finally being dismantled to make way for a new development - unknown as yet but rumoured to be a small park and an extension to the upper school - the school building is to right, hidden by still-standing storage building. The most interesting thing is the old cylindrical storage thingie has been collapsed and reminds me of a part deflated hot air balloon.
