Each year the Historical Aircraft Group (HAG), located in Geneseo in upstate NY, holds the "Greatest Show on Turf". Their runway is all grass and in great condition. This year the theme was Naval Air Power.
For the first time I went on Friday, which is fly-in day. It worked out well. While not all of the planes were there nor were most of the "shows" performed, the crowds were much less and there still was plenty to see. An F-15 did a fly by and a "Heritage Flight" with a P-51.
I took over 1800 images with my D200, 300m f/4, Gitzo tripod, Really Right Stuff Ballhead, and Wimberly Sidekick. I reduced this to the ones shown here.
