I got up really early today coz I had to check out for my corner room and check in for a different room. First stop today was China Town and the Dr. S.Y.S.'s Chinese Garden (beautiful with the snow!). I then made my way down to Science World. They were showing "body work 3" exhibition, but I really didn't want to risk throwing up after a big fast food meal.... so I just check out the general areas, which were cool enough for me to hang around for a good 2 hour before I went for my next destination- Queen Elizabeth Park Conservatory. The walk up there was LOOOONG, I swear to god if I had known I would have just taken a taxi like what the other lady had done. (Well at least I took a good amount of photos on the way up...) On the outside it may be winter, but inside the Conservatory it was completely spring time. I'd say those little parrots that live there are definately lucky! My mission to try and get to my next desination b4 it closes(by walking... silly me...) failed, because of some major road-works and snow were blocking all the pathways, it took about 45 min to walk around and finally get there... well by the time I was there I probably had 5 min to go in and out (so screw it I'm geting back to the hotel to get warm!). If you think my misery ended there, I'd say not quite... waiting for a single bus in the cold and trying to squeeze into one with school kids was hard enough to make me wanna just jump into a taxi (if there were even any...) I was supposed to go and see "a perfect wedding" but after all the trouble I had to go through to get back to the hotel room I knew I wasn't gonna leave the room that night. SLEEP.
