Not knowing anything about the Queen St (only knew some part is quite "gay-friendly"), but I was heading there to check out the only designer vinyl toy store I knew in town. So I started walking from my Hotel. On the way I realized this street has a lot of funky stores and cafes around, and later found out this is another popular area that the local ppl hang out. After my visit at the Magic-Pony (unfortunately didn't see much of Ledbetter stuff since the show was already over like 2 wks ago and everything would have been sold out I assume...), bought myself some blind-boxes (got a chase golden egg from the scary girl series, I'm usually not that lucky... so that's new). As I made my way back, haven't eaten anything since I got up so I felt kinda hungry and just picked a random cafe and went in. Hmmmm this is interesting, I instantly tagged this cafe- "bing", well when you see Xtra paper stacked up right next to the counter, butchy & trendy witress & bar person, and you look around the crowd... hmmm, yup... I picked the right cafe ;)
After my giant omelette I was going to head back downtown and realize I wasn't far from the CN tower, so I decided to go there instead. At the moment CN tower is still the world's tallest man-made structure, I got up there... to be honest, an observation deck is just another observation deck to me now... didn't feel particularly excited or anything. But I must admit looking down the glass floor was freaking me out a bit...
