Je me permets de revenir sur le commentaire de Buz et sur ta réponse. Il me semble avoir vu ce type de roche dans un reportage sur l'histoire glacaire du continent nord-américain. Ces rochers auraient en effet été errodés par les mouvements des glaciers qui recouvraient une bonne partie du territoire il y a quelques millions d'années. Ce sont les pierres situés sous le glacier, qui lors de leur déplacement sous celui-ci, provoquent ces lignes caractéristiques d'usure par frottement.

We are in the intertidal zone, so during winter, the ice is scrubbing the layers of rocks since the last glaciation.
Michel, this is a very interesting photo. Love the layering of what I suppose is sedimentary rock but it also appears to have been subjected heavily to glaciation. Are those deep groves and gouges from the glacial period? Sure looks like it. Saw this phenomenon in Maine and The Yosemite.
