Every spring the Army Corps of Engineers dredge the silt
from the river so commercial ships
have deep enough water to enter our port.
These barges move up and down the river causing
long car backups as the bridge must open for them to get up river.

Tonight was Maddies Middle School Orcherstra concert.

Interesting scene ... so that is what a drege looks like.
And so you have a draw bridge? Have we seen that?
