Our tour boat captain told us that this was a stature of an eagle put on the channel marker by the local shopkeepers so that the tourists would always be sure to see an eagle. As the bird turned his head laft, then right, the captain pushed a little switch and we all got a good laugh at that. Before we knew it, the REAL bird up and flew away. I have a picture of that bird in flight in this gallery.
