It was tough to get bread in Sarajevo during the seige. This bakery announced it would soon have bread, and there was immediately a line. They were selling somun, the traditional Bosnian bread.

Just a fantastic photo James !!! I can not believe my luck that I stumbled upon your page by pure accident - if there are things like "accidents" in life ; ) ! Thank you for portraying war in Bosnia so realistically and objectively - it was rare to see that during the war and even more rare now that war is over : ( !!!

Wow. This really sums up the grim reality of the siege in Sarajevo. Jason if you have any video from the siege please post it on youtube or somewhere on the internet.
