Traffic on the Markham Bridge over the Willamette stopped completely as cars pulled over to watch the fire. A police officer came by with his public address system and urged the lookie-loos to move on. He actually said "nothing to see here folks!" I think he was joking and probably wanted to park the patrol car and watch the fire himself.
