This group of Croatian soldiers on the front line in Turanj invited me to eat venison gulash with them. A deer had wandered too close to Turanj and ended up in a pot of really good stew. Fabulous! Notice the peculiar color of the image. My Nikon F4 was in the process of going belly up and the flash was not synching. The transparency is so dense you can just barely see there's an image. But the Nikon scanner, thanks to its excellent software, dug out what's there. Thanks to the guys for a great meal!
