Capt. Mason at his tent, Casablanca bivouac

Casablanca bivouac

What strikes me as odd about this picture is that my father is barefoot. To put it quite mildly, he is no fan of snakes....any snakes, and here he is in serious two-step snake country and he's in a grass field with no shoes on. I spent some time in the Middle East myself, and I can tell you when I got up in the morning I took a good look around before I got out of bed. Then I put my shoes on first. I even ran into a deadly snake in the shower once.

Rolleicord
