"The war everyone lost" is a great way to put it...

Kendzo, you're an idiot. "The Muslims turned their back on us for some reason" If anyone turned their back it was the Croatians. Tudjman and Milosevic met twice, Karađorđevo and Graz, and planned out the carving up of Bosnia. Tudjman wasn't an idiot, he saw the ARBiH struggling with the Serbs across Northern/Eastern Bosnia and saw the opportunity to grab some land.

"There was no ethnic cleansing in Mostar." Again, you're an idiot. Thousands of Muslims, maybe more, were kicked out of their homes in West Mostar in 1993... a great documentary on Mostar (posted on YouTube, I forget the name) documents multiple examples of this, and also documents the HVO firing on the fleeing refugees from a distance. Hell, the main doctor in East Mostar at the time wasn't even Muslim, but wouldn't disclose his name because he was afraid his family would be kicked out of West Mostar as well. Don't speak about something unless you know what you're talking about.

On a final note... don't feel too bad about those sent to the Hague. They serve their sentences in pretty cushy detention centers. If Kordic is innocent, he probably lives in better conditions than his HVO colleagues in Croatia and Bosnia do now.

One thing I like about the Balkans is that nobody's guilty and everybody got screwed. The war just happened, sort of like a flood or a forest fire. People had nothing to do with it.

I know Dario and his family very well and he has no business being in the Hague. Poor guy got screwed. I only hope he will be released soon. His story and that of Croats in BiH has to be told finally.

Kendzo 18-Dec-2006 13:01
Zidar> Yes I was part of HOS in Croatia and in BiH. We had many muslims ( 40 %)in our formation who were loyal to the cause but become brainwashed and harassed by rebels from Kabul. I am not blaming the Muslims all I am saying is that all 3 sides committed war crimes but it seems only 1 side is doing hard time. If we Croats did what the Serbs did we would be locked up as a nation for a 100 years. Karadzic and Mladic are still roaming the streets of Beograd. Maybe If they had've killed "Jews" then things would've been a little different.

I'd like to ask Kendzo where he spent the war. Was he in Central Bosnia while this was happening? Well, I was.

Zidar> I am so sick of people blaming the Croats for alleged war crimes. WE Croats only defended our homes and never invaded anyone elses territory. we never went Serb or Muslim majority populated area's of Bosnia and tried to cleanse them. Mostar was never cleansed, it was only divided due to troublre in central Bosnia. I am so sick to death with anti-Croatian judges in the Hague giving light sentences to Serb and muslim soldiers but throwing the book at us. Kordic got 25 years for what-absolute nothing, for defending his home. Naser Oric was in the same situation as the Croats were in central Bosnia. Srebrenica was surrounded as was Travnik. Naser decided that the best form of defence was to attack and thats what he did. HVO Travnik did the same, Naser gets 2 years while Croats get 25 years. The system is a joke and so are the people who sent them to the Hague. You do not mention the Afghan rebels who entered central Bosnia and stirred the pot amongst Croats and Muslims. The HVO & Armija BiH were fighting against the Cetniks on a united front until those scum bags from the middle east decided to brain wash a few muslims from the Travnik area that Muslims should not be fighting along chrisitians. Aljia had a part to play in this but the truth will never come out unfortunatly. We keep hearing about Ahmici but their is no mention of 300 Croats who were slaughterd from Bugojno area. Ahmici was 1 villiage only one, the Serbs cleansed up to 1000 villiages in Bosnia and they still recieve lighter sentences. We as Croats as people have always been so stupid when it comes to protecting our own from alleged persecution. If anything Kordic should've been tried in sarajevo and not in a foreign country. The Bos. muslims turned their backs on us for what reason I don't know but all I can say is we Croats will not be assisting anybody if the Serbs try to cause grief in Bosnia again. We have been terated like shit and it will never happen again. Long live the Croats of Central Bosnia without them there would be no Bosnia. Muslimani nekada misli svojoj glavi a ne samo korani..
