How clueless are these Croat keyboard warriors?! If they only knew how much effort did Alagic invest in saving Croat civilians in Central Bosnia from the retribution of renegade vindictive groups. You can't even try to comprehend how difficult that task was taking all things into consideration, from constant, deliberate provocations to committing unseen atrocities by HvO. There are abundant reports from both sides, testimonies, UNPROFOR official reports on who behaved how! You are barking at the wrong tree kids, if there was no Alagic, Croat civilians would've fared far worse, because many ppl were so keen in retaliating for Ahmici.

Millitary view: he was a great leader and superb strategist. He led his "corpus" (the bosnian denomination for army) to a absolutly astonishing victory over a totally ascendent opponent, the serbian army. Let´s face it, the bosnian army was totally outnumbered, hardly armed, in a desperate strategic situation. And notwithstanding they managed to be victorious over that foe. And no, it was not the "Americans" or "the NATO" and even not the marsians that helped the Bosnians to survive and eventually to route out the serbian troops, it were men and leaders like that general and his experience and expertise. Chapeau. Of course the serbian party is full of hate and viciousness, especially when talking ´bout that person. (Besides: what a shame on the Hague that they played that disgusting political game "we have to find at least one evil guy from the Bosnians and Croatians to satisfy the serbian soul"...nothing else than a embarrassing admission to the serbians, which they absolutly did not deserve, since they still cultivate their ideology of hate, chauvinism, serbianism and a sick idea of victimhood.

you know what - I am from Gornji Vakuf and half of my town was burned by bosnian catoliks. They killed half of my city. They wanted half of my country.

Fascists at Dubrovnik-What a wanker!

Europe has decided that there'll be no more hangings. That's probably because those nasty Americans, Russians, and British hanged those poor Germans in 1946. A life sentence in Europe is 25 years, if I'm not mistaken. My favorite quote from Alagic, which came when I was interpreting for a British reporter, was this: the reporter asked Alagic if he was in the JNA at the start of the war. "I fought the fascists at Dubrovnik," was his answer. Were there any fascists in Dubrovnik? I sure didn't see any!
