This was in the hinterlands near Karlovac in the fall of '91. This Croatian paramilitary was cleaning his rifle and enjoying a beer. The Croats were on the run at this time.

HRVATSKI JE VOJNIK 99.9% VIDI SE PO MASKIRNOJ UNIFORMI I PULOVERU ISPOD. SRBI SU IMALI JEDNOBOJNE, A I MASKIRNE SU IN IMALE NEKAKO JAČE I SVIJETLIJE BOJE.I OVO NIJE ŠEŠIR VEĆ OBIĆNA KAPA NA KOJOJ JE NEKI VJETOVATNO GRB KUPLJEN NA TRŽNICI. ČETNICI SU NOSILI KOKARDE TOLIKO VELIKE DA SU IH VIDJELI I SA SVEMIRSKE STANICE MIR U TO VRIJEME. DODUŠE OVO PIVO PORED NJEGA NIJE MI POZNATO, MOZDA JE RATNI PLJEN,A MOZDA I SOK.

Mason, stop using the word ustasi when talkin about croats. by the way the guy has a serbian hat, but maybe because of he snipers.

Get lost jerk. First you tell me he's a chetnik, then you tell me I've got the wrong "ustashi" beer. Go find something else to do with your time.

That's a bottle of Zagrebacko beer he's drinking, and he let me take his picture....so I'm pretty sure he's not a Serb. - James

Are you sure this is a Croat soldier? The shield on his hat seems Serbian, possibly around Vukovar, the timing is right.
