I started shooting digital photos in 2001 when the newspaper chain I worked for sent me a Canon point and shoot. It was 3.25 megapixel. After about six months I bought Canon's first DSLR, a D30. If I'm not mistaken it also was 3.25 megapixel. As Canon came out with improved cameras I upgraded. Now I'm using the R series bodies and lenses and they deliver amazing image quality. The recent black and white digital photos are taken with a Leica Q2 Monochrom, also an exceptional camera. I love digital. I still shoot tri-x black and white film now and then and process it myself. Then I scan the negatives. No more darkroom prints for me.
