Fire on a Stormy Night

The fire alarm at the hotel went off in the middle of the night.
Looked in the hallway and no smoke so I called
the front desk. They said come down the stairs go outside.
Kinda packed up some stuff and looked out the window
and all I saw was sideways rain, no smoke, no fire trucks,
and no one running around like they were in a disaster movie.
I waited at the window watching the storm and watched the
few people who did go out their cars move them around like it would help.
Fire department did show up to shut off the alarms
and that took all of 30 seconds.
Then they left within minutes.
Cause of the FIRE?????
On camera they saw some punk Vaping in the hall on the
3rd floor who blew his vape on the smoke detector.
Yep!
Stupid is as as stupid does!

Sometimes you have to wonder.... however, you did get a darn good shot anyway. V

Oh my. That's all you need at a time like this. I've been there - standing outside of a hotel at 5AM in December for a false alarm.
