She was spotted in a formation in Hell Creek, South Dakota.
When the significance of the find became apparent cross claim
lawsuits ensued. After years in limbo Sue was sold at auction.

For those who are familiar with the Museum.
Go up to the third floor and take a right at the Mammoth.


The other T Rex - Scotty resides at the
Royal Saskatchewan Museum's T. rex Discovery Centre in
Eastend, Saskatchewan, Canada is still my favorite.
