Spider Time

I have been keeping tabs on this spider and her web.
She had a prime place along the fence near the gate.
She is very cautious because it’s fairly exposed but there
is a light at the top of the post that is a great place to hide.
I even walked by when she was being romanced by her mate.
Out of all the spiders she has done very well.
I notice since I took this photo
she isn’t in her usual place and her web is in disrepair.
I think she has finished her duty and laid her eggs.
I hope to see her spiderlings in the spring!

Yep, it is that time of year when the smart one goes second down the path past the hedge.

Nice one, John. And it's cool you can tell one spider from another but especially a good thing that you care. V.
