A Stream Runs Through it…

Dudley C. Bass Mansion
Stevensville, Montana

“The basement has a stream that runs through it.
Early attempts to plug the stream failed and it is,
even today, allowed to flow through.
It has caused some problems at times of high water run-off.”

If there is fishing in the basement? I am in!

The house must be like a sauna in the summer - and cold in winter :( Not great for the arthritis !! Nicely captured. V

That is some weird history. That's a hefty price reduction, but I would buy it. V.

What more could you want, a beautiful home with a stream.

You could always dam up the river and raise brook trout. Dinner guests could pick or catch their own entree.

I guess if diverting it doesn't work you're stuck with it. An elegant place. "V"
