Something that we thought we entered into so seriously,
but didn’t have a clue of the trials that lay ahead.
So many sharp rocks in the river of life to sink the boat.
We should have been broken, but we chose to swim to shore each time to start over.
It was not easy and sometimes it took years, but love see’s a future over the horizon.
Fortunately we helped each other to see it too.

Some men seek money or fame or both.
Some men seek conquests of all kinds.
Yet true deep happiness eludes them.
Life is full of choices.
Seeking these things and ending up
with false friends and an enemy list.
That is not a life at all.
I would rather be poor in the country
than fat and rich in a city palace.
My acquaintances are many but true, loyal
friends are like diamonds, rare and beautiful.
I value them so much because they are so hard to find
and they are deeply missed when they leave.
The most beautiful diamond of all happens to be my wife.
Very blessed to see her still smiling…

Not going to be around as much for awhile! Have a lot to do
in the backyard before the days get short and the wind cold.
Also have some long awaited appointments, prep work for
future adventures and needed face time with my best friend.
It’s about time and energy and I don’t seem to have enough of ether.
