Onions in the Mist

Droplets on a spiderweb in the Egyptian Onions.

I grow Egyptian, aka - Walking onions for several reasons.
This one in particular - click here - http://www.pbase.com/zeusatolympus/image/136875059
Also I grow them because if done right I get green onions almost all winter.
They have a rich flavor that smells wonderful and when sautéed your mouth will water in anticipation.
They are extra delicious when slipped into a warm omelette on a cold morning.
This mostly happens in the winter and because it’s cold and wet outside....I’ll do it for lunch too!

Great image and effect, John. Voted. I have to admit to never hearing of this type of onion, though.
