Just seem to drag this stuff along over the decades.
Water cans, kerosine cans, milk and cream cans.
Water cans friends gave me as they grew to old to garden.
The same with some of the milk cans, gifts because
they knew I would enjoy having them.
Some rescued, some found, some just showed up.
I think of my old friends
as I walk by them,
and smile.
