A Travelers Shrine

It says "Oatman, AZ Route 66""
Travelers have put knik and knaks up as offerings for whatever reasons.
The cross is like a marker for a road that is dead, but not forgotten.
I found it fitting that the grape vine wreath was here because
"The Grapes of Wrath" was filmed near here.
The lariat too seemed to fit. Some busted cowboy headed out
to the California dream or headed back home after realizing the
dream was there all along. That's what happened to me.
Many lives strung together over many generations,
letting old paths die, finding new paths to follow.
Some placing a trinket in hopes of finding their way!
I did and the road was kind to me.
Just part of the dream.......
