Poplars along the driveway!
Put in as cuttings that were about the size of a pencil.
I put in these and a mix of over hundred other trees.
Planted in the spring of 2001, it is amazing how fast they grow!
Sometimes I go somewhere else looking for fall colors.
When I get home and pull in the driveway I get the best color of the day.
Reds, greens, yellows welcome me home.
I often wonder why I bother going, but the return is so sweet.
