Mediocre Bad Guys

August 4, 2005. Santa Cruz, California. Pacific Street. With ipod buds in place, D70 in hand, I kept coming back to this expressive homeless fellow as Jack Johnson crooned into my ears. It struck me that he appeared to be singing the same song I was listening to. I used the song lyrics for image captions, not unlike something I did a few years with a short, original poem and one of the first galleries I posted. You can check that out here. Terrence Toh, who I think is excellent, recently experimented with something similar on a little more detailed level.

Many TALK about "living in the moment" ....but if you want to see a man "living" in the moment, this is it. Voted. And voted for the complete gallery in color. Wonderful insightful and thoughtful work here Chris.

Fantastic work here, Chirs! Simply awesome! I'm quite taken with how well you've placed lyrics with each image and how they compliment each other so well. Great subject you chose as well. Very well thought out and executed.
