20060815 / Idle Hands

A few paintings by mad talented Holly Ellis of Idle Hand Tattoo in the
Lower Haight. I met Holly at a tattoo show last year. Beautiful girl,
beautiful soul. Unbelievable artist, but no...she hasn't inked me :)

Oh, in case you ever wondered where I got the term 'dummyhead', check
out Holly's website --ya big dummyhead you! She's done
a painting of Frida Kahlo that is nothin' short of haunting.

That yellow, strong enough to sear my eyes, but I can't stop looking, it's hypnotic! Your friend has talent, they look great.

I love the color saturation here...very Lomo and film-like.
