I agree with what others said, about her expression, her concentration and about the great quality of the composition too. She has a wonderful presence on this image, even if she doesn't look at us (and maybe because she doesn't).

She has a sort of wistful look with the downward glance. I do like how she is, or seems, to be looking away from the negative space like she is contemplating it rather than dwelling in it. V
