Great comp Chris, the lighting really pushes the 3D view of the mask. The use of empty space further enhances the shot, it's as if the mask is turning to look at something to the right -v-

Hmm. methinks any ritual with this guy means being obedient or else.. Would not like to sneak up on him unexpectedly .. those teeth look deadly. Excellent way to light him.. to show that he's got his eye on everything and is just waiting in the darkness.
