Such solid expression. The bad shades, weighty expression and unusual interaction make me stop to oogle.Really excellent work Chris!!!

Well chosen shot for the PaD. All are very well done, but this one stands out in the emotion conveyed and the many ways it could be interpreted. I think what draws me to this image is that you've distracted him, in a sense, and taken him out of the moment which she is still in. And really like her refelctive gaze. All of these shots are excellent in b&w.

I always thought hand-kissing was the provenance of the gentleman not the lady. Nice shots. I'm also curious to know what get-out lines you use when you're rumbled - "I was just taking a photo of the bird"? LOL

Thanks for the nod!
Yeah, this one would fit right in my PDA gallery.
Poser dude's got a tiny bad seed thing goin'. And she don't mind.
Course he's a project manager M-F, 9-5.

Nice group, chosen PaD is the strongest for me. Looks like you were caught three times, what's the get out line you use ? :)

Excellent portraits. The toning is spot on.

Great captures, Chris! I rally like the tones and light!

I love the way he doesn't seem to realise that the weight of the world is on her shoulders Chris. In this single moment you seem to capture the balance of the realtionship. He is taking her support for granted. Great image.

You're really the master of candids, Chris! You can not only take picctures of people, but interesting, "talking" ones. Here the guy saw you, didn't he? I like how they are together.
Guest 06-Sep-2005 00:14
They look so comfortable with each other.
Body language can say so much.
I've got to try more candids. I'm so chicken...scared to get caught. :)

Outstanding candid shot.

VOTE.
I love the guy being on the shoulder of the girl - which means confort, insurance - while, according to her expression, it is her in a need of some help. Someone would call this incongruity. I personally don't know. It is just another fantstic picture, another fantastic story.

Thanks Chris

Almost seems like you caught a brother and sister here... (mouths, noses, eyes-glasses) Catching the serious ones for your pad of late- tho- tis good to see the happy grins as well..

Happy or not !! hard to tell. Good B&W effect.
