20050407 / Power, Wisdom & Respect

Asilomar, at the western edge of Pacific Grove, CA, can be a wicked break.
Crosswinds, rapidly rising tides and jagged reef at either side can spell
trouble for the ill-prepared. That doesn't take into account the brutal rip-
tides that can literally pull you from the safety of waist high water to
head high and deeper.

Never turn your back on her. Embrace her. Do not, under any circumstance, take
her for granted. She will work you, but she will give you the time of your life.

I second what Donna already said. I also like those colors in this image, very warm colors, and the devision of the red and what appears like a rug? Very nicely composed. I love your words.

Really excellent shot, Chris. The DOF on this gives it a 3-D appearance. Makes me want to stare at it.
